Review by Patrick Meuris: La Douce France and metal, has always been a story of plenty of hit & misses but when the target was hit, the result was great. France is in the end well represented in the premiere league of most if not all genres of metal, need proof?
Trust, Loudblast, Warning, Vulcain, Gojira, Alcest, Celeste,… should convince you.
So where does Comity fit in? Well the fourth offering of this noise freaks, call it mathcore noisecore whatever you want… is a fierce slab of sonic violence presented to us with the preciseness comparable to a very expensive Swiss watch…. If you ‘re sad because of the demise of the Dillinger escape plan or the wait for the next Converge or Tesseract albums take top long well then check out Comity’s “A Long Eternal Fall” …. My rating: 80/100 (Good in its own genre, recommended for those hooked on it)
